Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s second current-generation outing is growing into the video game’s best yet. Gamers and fans of the long-standing franchise now stands the chance to win a bunch of cool prizes courtesy of Burger King! The storied fast food franchise has announced a collaboration with Call of Duty in order to bring a one-of-a-kind travelling roadshow and opportunities to three of South Africa’s biggest locales. 

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Travelling Roadshow will visit selected Burger King outlets in Pretoria, Durban, and Cape Town throughout the month of November, with the latter of the three cities also getting special Going Dark events! All fans need to do to join in on the fun is visit any of the locations listed below to enter and stand a chance to win a fair bit of prizes, as well as a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022).

Purchasing a Call of Duty King Box Meal and presenting the receipt to any attending crew will automatically enter fans into the draws. That is not all, however, since fans will also receive a special Burger King Operator Skin and a Double XP ticket. Furthermore, participating in the time-trial demo available at the roadshow will automatically rank players on a custom leaderboard. This leaderboard, in turn, will allow players to be added to a draw for a varied amount of peripherals, copies of the game, and even Burger King attire or meal vouchers. Leaderboards will be open daily, from 8 am through to 8 pm.

Overall highest score per store: 1x Hyper X Headset & 24” AOC Gaming Monitor

The Burger King & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 travelling roadshow will conclude in three exclusive Going-Dark events hosted in Burger King N1 City, Cape Town, from 24-26 November 2022. Participants will receive night-vision goggles and be allowed to enter the “Going-Dark Tunnel”, where a challenging Modern Warfare 2 interactive experience has been set in wait. This is the perfect opportunity for any Call of Duty fan to showcase their mettle!

As an added bonus, we are giving away two sets of tickets to the exclusive Going-Dark event. Two lucky readers can win a set of tickets for themselves and three friends to one of the exclusive Going-Dark Events! There are two sets in total to giveaway to anyone who will be in Cape Town on 24 November 2022, and who can legally prove they are at least 18-years-old.
