With only a week to go until E3 2016, Guerrilla Games has taken the lid off of what gamer’s can expect from the Horizon Zero Dawn Collector’s Editions that will be available for purchase once the game releases in 2017 (yes, the game has been delayed).
Horizon Zero Dawn (2017) is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game from Guerrilla Games and is the company’s first new intellectual property since developing the Killzone franchise. The game has a female lead character known as Alloy who must survive in a world that has been forgotten by humans and embraced by robots. It is easily one of the most interesting exclusives for Sony’s PlayStation 4.
As with most high profile video games releases, Horizon Zero Dawn will be available in standard, limited edition and collector’s edition variants. Both the limited and collector’s editions include exclusive steel book cases, an art book, a PlayStation 4 theme and unique downloadable content. The collector’s edition, however, will retail for $120 (R1800) and includes a nine inch (23 cm) tall statue of the protagonist, Aloy, made by Gentle Giant.
