2K Games is bringing the festivities to even more of their games! A new NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 Christmas Update adds a host of new characters, vanity items, and a brand-new Playground to the game on all platforms.

The new added Playground is the Ice-Cold Christmas Playground. A Christmas themed court players can access as soon as they update their game. It also adds a bundle of festive clothing options, including a few elf costumes, and even one where you can dress your players as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

In addition to the clothing and new Playground, players will also notice that they have 35 new players! These include a number of classic 1990s NBA stars, like Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman. Furthermore, it also seems that players will have access to Christmas themed powerups. However, no new power-ups have been mentioned in the patch notes or detailed by 2K.

The NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 Christmas Update is available right now to anyone who plays NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. The game is a cute version of its bigger, triple-A brother, NBA 2K19, and focuses on quick and easy matches that are stylised to be more aesthetically pleasing for a casual gaming crowd.
