Wonder Geeks Activated! is an art show based in Ottawa for fans of comics, video games, sci-fi, anime, cosplay, steampunk, horror, cartoons and everything between and beyond. The show took place this past weekend and featured geek related merchandise, entertainment and hosted unique art from 11 of Ottawa’s best artists; each of whom created unique artworks for the event. One of the featured artists, Curtis Tiegs, created a truly unique X-Men related piece.

Instead of designing a static image of superheroes posing, Tiegs decided to do something different. The result is ‘Professor Xavier’s Circus of the Uncanny’, a beautifully crafted image that draws inspiration from Victorian age freak-shows.
