Vamers - Win With Vamers - Nokia Asha 306 - Trio (Red-Silver-Blue)

Nokia recently launched the Asha Touch range of fun, affordable and colourful touch screen mobile phones for emerging markets.

To celebrate, the wonderful people over at Nokia South Africa are giving one lucky Vamers reader the chance to win a brand spanking new Nokia Asha 306: a phone that offers fast mobile web browsing, social networking, gaming and more.

All Nokia Asha 306 phones have a splendid 3” WQVGA resistive touch screen that allows for multimedia content to be showcased with ease. As such, each phone in the Asha Touch range comes bundled with 40 EA games, like Tetris and Ridge Racer Drift, that are free to download and keep.

In addition to gaming on the go, one of the key features of the Nokia Asha 306 is the new Nokia Browser 2.0. The new browser allows for faster and cheaper internet access because it uses Nokia’s Cloud technology to effectively reduce data consumption by up to 90% percent – allowing most websites to load up to three times faster in comparison to devices without cloud-accelerated browsing. The phone also has WLAN to add to its smartphone-like experience for those who have home WiFi networks or for access to free public WiFi hotspots. What’s more, the Nokia Browser 2.0 has a Download Manager feature that helps to manage external content easily; like saving music, video or pictures on a memory card all whilst surfing the internet.

With more than 10,000 web apps available for download, the Nokia Asha has something for everyone. For those who enjoy accessing social networks while on the move, the Asha Touch range of phones have a convenient ‘one touch’ solution to share files and links across social networks.
