Deepfakes are a genuine concern when it comes to protecting your identity online. Through this technology, you can add any head onto any body and make them say pretty much anything. Worst of all, they seem generally believable to the naked eye. On the other end of the spectrum, this technology can also spur a lot of joy. In this regard, I give you one of the most “epik” videos I have ever seen: a Mortal Kombat 11 deepfake which adds Jackie Chan, The Rock, Keanu Reeves and more to the game!

One of the best aspects of the wonderful fighting games NetherRealm Studios push out yearly, is how they constantly receive new content. Recently, the studio added Joker as a brand-new character, as well as a bunch of DC Comics Elseworlds skins for some of the franchise mainstays. Now, however, YouTuber BabyZone has given the world proof of something we never knew we needed, but desperately want: Keanu Reeves, Bruce Campbell, Jean-Claude Van Damme and way more, fighting in the war for, and against, EarthRealm.

BabyZone managed to create the “Celebrity Skins Pack” by sourcing video and images from a number of movies the actors starred in. Most notable are the Sub-Zero and Kung Lao skins, which feature Keanu Reeves and Jackie Chan respectively. Jean-Claude Van Damme also got a pretty decent fix in the video, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson coming in just after Bruce Campbell as my top five. With that said, BabyZone did not leave us all hanging for more either. The content creator has released another Mortal Kombat 11 deepfake, only this time it features a bunch of female stars (and the illustrious Donnie Yen).

The video features Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, and even Scarlett Johanson’s faces on characters that suits them perfectly. The best ones by far are Scarlett Johanson as Sonya, Jennifer Lawrence as Cassie Cage, and Christopher Lambert as Raiden.

I think there is no denying how great the Mortal Kombat 11 deepfake edits are. The only issue now is getting NetherRealm to pay the celebrities for their likenesses, and getting the skins in the game. I would totally pay to get Jackie Chan or Jennifer Lawrence in my game. Pull out Keanu Reeves’ spleen? Yes please!
