Vamers - Win WIth Vamers - Titanfall Collectors Edition Competition - Dark Banner

Titanfall is the debut title from Respawn Entertainment, a new game development company founded by the creators of Infinity Ward and the highly successful Call of Duty franchise.

Titanfall took almost every major video game trades show and publication by storm in 2013, garnering over 75 industry awards worldwide – a phenomenal achievement.

The recent beta of the game, which I was fortunate enough to be a part of on Xbox One, has further solidified Titanfall as one of the most anticipated first-person shooters to be released in recent memory. The game’s easy to pick up and play controls coupled with fast and frantic gameplay make Titanfall a real pleasure to play. In short, Respawn Entertainment deserve the industry praise and recognition that Titanfall is receiving.

On Tuesday the 11th of March 2014, Titanfall will release exclusively for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows. The game will come in two flavours: a standard edition and, more importantly, a limited collector’s edition.

Video game distributors in South Africa have done a great job in recent years of supplying limited and collector’s edition versions of popular video games. Every now and again, however, a spectacular limited or collector’s edition of a game goes unseen on our shores. A recent example of this rare phenomenon is the Gears of War 3: Epic Edition. The same, it would seem, appears to be true for the Titanfall collector’s edition.

Although Microsoft’s Xbox One is not yet available in South Africa, we are aware that a small and ever growing community of gamers have imported their own consoles (I am one of those gamers). As a result of our passion for embracing the new generation of consoles and for being South African video game enthusiasts, Vamers will be importing a Titanfall Collector’s Edition for Xbox One to giveaway to one very, very lucky gamer.

Vamers - Gaming - Titanfall Collectors Edition Detailed - Details

The Titanfall Collector’s Edition is a must have for the true Titanfall fan or anyone who enjoys collecting mech figures. Available in very limited quantities, the Titanfall Collector’s Edition features:

  • an exclusive and hand crafted collectible Atlas Titan that stands over 45cm high, is made from over 300 individual parts and has battery powered LED lighting,
  • a full-size hardcover art book with over 190 pages of rare concept art,
  • an exclusive full-size schematic poster of the Atlas Titan,
  • and the Titanfall game for Xbox One.

The Titanfall Collector’s Edition is valued at almost R4800 (price includes shipping, import duties and exchange rate conversion) and is easily the most expensive prize to be offered on Vamers thus far;  but it is a prize and product that we felt South African gamers should not have to completely miss out on.

In addition to the main prize of a Titanfall Collector’s Edition for Xbox One, we also have a runner-up prize that consists of the standard edition of Titanfall for Xbox One.
