This year’s event was a blast, and featured a bunch of surprises. One of the best was a gut-wrenching moment for Blood Thunder, a popular speedrunner on Twitch, who trolled viewers with a fake Windows 10 update screen that interrupted his Bioshock speedrun. The moment was a tongue-in-cheek prank that referenced Microsoft’s extremely poor implementation of their soon-to-be-paid-for Windows 10 automatic upgrade system. The moment can be viewed at around 15:37:00 on the archive below.

The games played this year included triple-AAA hits such as the aforementioned Bioshock, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the original Deus Ex, and old school classics such as Pokemon Red, Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3, and even Super Metroid.
