During her performance she used a foam hand to caress her genitalia, shook her booty at everyone who would watch by means of twerking, and salaciously rubbed herself up against rhythm and blues artist Robin Thicke. Needless to say, Miley shook off any lingering notion that she was once Disney’s Hannah Montana.
Cyrus’ racy VMA performance spurred countless reactions online, so much so that it moved attention away from the news that Ben Affleck has been cast as the new Batman.
