Hair is as natural a phenomenon as sweating, bleeding when injured, or trudging through mountains of dead people as you swing your weapon at the Avengers. Totally normal. What is not normal, however, is seeing armpit hair on a perfectly shaven and bald-headed supreme villain. I am, of course, talking about Thanos’ armpit hair!

Throughout the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s run, our favourite stars have kept it clean and perfect. When Robert Downy Jr.’s Tony Stark first made an appearance on-screen, millions of fans were introduced to one of the most clean-cut and well-groomed superheroes ever. When Thor (Chris Hemsworth) entered the scene, we all thought we would get a messy viking god. Surprisingly, we got one of the most glorious deities ever. This trend continued all the way through until the very end. Well, that is until one eagle-eyed fan noticed something peculiar about the Mad Titan.

Thanks to Reddit user MrBubbles9039, we now know that Thanos’ armpit hairs are very real. Who knew this cleanly-shaven Titan, with arms and a head as smooth as a pornstar’s butt, would neglect grooming under his arms?

Of course, we should not judge. I like burly men, and some men out there just look better with hair. I personally do not shave the hair on my body completely off, and I am also an avid member of #TeamBeard. Grooming, however, goes a long way and this revelation comes as a surprise! Especially when you consider the absence of body hair on almost all of the other members of the MCU.

With that said, the Thanos we see in Avengers: Infinity War, and the Thanos we see in Avengers: Endgame, are technically two vastly different people. I am uncertain which version of the Titan is featured in the image, but it can very well be that he just forgot to groom in his undying quest for balance! Yes, I will opt to believe that little hypothesis. Now excuse me while I go and wash out my eyes with soap and forget I ever saw this Reddit post.
