Over the last year, rumours of the next generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft have made gamers brim with excitement.
Of the ‘big two’ Sony was the first to officially announced their next generation console, the PlayStation 4. Since that time, Microsoft has remained mum on the subject of the next Xbox.
However, that all changed last month when Microsoft announced that the next generation Xbox would be revealed on the 21st may 2013. That day has finally come.
Tonight at 19:00 (South African time, GMT+2), Microsoft will finally take the covers off of their next generation console and reveal it to the world.
Similar to Sony’s PlayStation 4 announcement, the Xbox reveal will be broadcast live on the Internet. There are two ways to watch the next generation Xbox reveal.
Option one: watch the reveal by means of the official Xbox website here.
Option two: stream the reveal directly via an Xbox 360 console.
For those who are unable to watch the event live, but who still want to be kept ‘in the loop’, you may follow my twitter where I will be tweeting about the event as it happens.
