Star Wars Themed Xbox 360 Bundle

Good old Microsoft have done it again, this time by teaming up with Lucasarts to bring us a really sweet Star Wars themed Xbox 360 Elite Kinect bundle. The new bundle will commemorate the launch of Star Wars Kinect, which is exclusive to the Xbox 360.

This truly drool worthy R2-D2 themed Xbox 360 will not only be accompanied by a gold C-3PO controller, but the bundle will also include a unique white Xbox Kinect unit, a copy of Star Wars Kinect, a massive 320GB hard drive and, undoubtedly the coolest bit of this whole package, the console will emit custom R2-D2 sounds.

The Star Wars themed Xbox 360 bundle will retail for USD $449.99 / AUD $599 / UK £349.99 / ZA R4699.99 and will include the following:

  • Kinect Star Wars game
  • Custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 Console with custom sounds
  • White Kinect Sensor
  • Custom Special Edition C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 Wireless Controller with transforming D-Pad
  • 320 GB Hard Drive (the largest available to date for the Xbox 360 system)
  • The iconic phrase “Help me Obi-Won Kinobi, you’re my only hope” will be printed on the disc tray.
  • A marking for “Industrial Automaton” can be found on the back of the unit.
  • Xbox 360 Wired Headset
  • Kinect Adventures game
  • Exclusive downloadable content

Unfortunately, no additional information pertaining to a local South African launch has been made available. UPDATE: Microsoft South Africa have announced that the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle will be available from 3rd April 2012 for a suggested retail price of R4699.
