Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is almost here. As such, fans on all platforms would really like to know how well the game will run on their preferred console or system. Alas, Ubisoft has remained tight-lipped on the numbers and settings for the consoles. PC players, however, have received a heads-up in the way of an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey PC system requirements specs sheet.

Ubisoft states that Odyssey will be their prettiest game yet, and have confirmed that it will not be a port of the console game at all. Instead, it is “a tailored experienced developed by a dedicated team at Ubisoft Kiev” together with “close collaboration with Ubisoft Quebec, the lead studio on Odyssey”. Ubisoft states that having a dedicated PC team allows them to offer a level of customisation that enthusiast PC players expect. It also allowed them to “adapt the experience to” their preferred PC configurations”.

This is pretty awesome, considering many PC players are still of the mentality that consoles tend to hold their favourite games back from looking as good as they could. As a predominantly PC gamer myself, I do not necessarily share those sentiments with the current climate. With that said, I must admit that the latest Nvidia cards may change that up quite a bit in the coming year… that is, for anyone willing to pay more than the full price of an Xbox One X just for a graphics card.

With all of that said, Ubisoft also states that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey PC includes “unique features not found in the console versions”. These features include, but are not limited to, a benchmarking tool, a dynamic resolution option, and an uncapped framerate. So without further ado, here are the specs:
