Just as you thought that your wallet would finally be getting some rest after the Steam-ocalypse of Summer Sales, Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb announced on his blog that the Xbox Ultimate Gaming Sale 2016 will be going live from the 5th of July.

In addition to the free games via Xbox Games with GoldMajor Nelson uploaded an entire spreadsheet of around 250 games and add-ons (included below) that will be a part of the Xbox Ultimate Gaming Sale 2016. He also announced that this sale will, for the first time ever, include PC gaming titles alongside Xbox One and Xbox 360; as long as potential buyers have access to the Windows 10 Store. This move is inline with Microsoft’s E3 2016 press briefing where the company announced Xbox Play Anywherebuy once and play on Xbox and Windows 10 PC.

The sale will also offer special pricing on Xbox One consoles, but Major Nelson has not yet revealed how these special prices will be implemented or if they will be available outside of the United States.

The best aspect of the sale is without a doubt the games, whereby most will be discounted from 40% to 60%; but there will be one or two titles that will get an even bigger discount. Xbox Live Gold members will also receive an extra 10% discount on all available games and add-ons over gamers who are only on the silver tier of the service.

The sale will have something for everyone, regardless of what kind of gamer you are. This includes titles such as Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Quantum Break, Dark Souls 3, DOOM, Rise of the Tomb Raider and even some EA Sports titles. An entire spreadsheet of the discounted titles for Xbox can be viewed below and eligible titles for PC can be found here.

The sale runs from 5 July 2016 through to the 11 of July 2016.
