The 1980s arguably produced some of the most memorable and infamous movie monsters. From the likes of otherworldly creatures in Aliens and Predator to neighbourhood villains like Pennywise, Freddy Kruger and Jason Voorhees, the 80s had spectacularly inventive and scary monsters for pretty much every scenario.

Below is a beautiful and limited edition poster artwork created by the very talented Tom Whalen. The print was commissioned for an exclusive group known as Poster Buddies and Traders, a group of ‘Die-Hard’ movie poster collectors.

Whalen’s poster is a visual delight and perfectly captures the mortifyingly memorable monsters of the 80s.
