Vamers - Gadgetology - Dubbler

Dubbler is a new service that puts your personal audio stamp on all of your social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. With the likes of Instagram and Vine offering video, Dubbler hopes to be the social network for audio bites.

Dubbler is a service that gives users the ability to record 60 seconds of audio. What kind of audio you share is up to you and can range from your own music, singing songs, sharing news, opinions or telling jokes and stories. In the way that Instagram has filters for photos and videos, Dubbler has filters for your voice. Here is a dub I made to celebrate the release of Despicable Me 2.

As is the trend in social media, dubs via Dubbler can have hashtags. These tags allow other users to discover your content and makes being heard on a global scale even easier. Sadly, dubs cannot yet be Googled or embedded on websites, but this should change as the service develops.

Dubbler is currently available for iOS and Android.

Go on, give your thumbs a rest and unleash your voice.
