It is very rare that artists will venture out of their comfort zone and perform renditions of songs that differ from their branded image or persona. Alicia Keys, however, is the kind of artist who is not afraid to do exactly that.

While on the set of a recent episode of Jimmy Falon, the seductive bronze songstress surprised the audience by performing an acoustic rendition of the theme song from the 1980s kids television series, Gummi Bears. The result is nothing short of gooseflesh raising – especially for anyone who grew up alongside the wild antics and adventures of Gruffi, Zummi, Grammi, Tummi, Sunni, Cubbi and Gusto!

Alicia Keys obviously took a large swig of Gummiberry Juice before her performance, because her superb velvet lined voice bounced around all of the right octaves to provide a hauntingly beautiful rendition of the highly cheerful original version of the song.
