It is official. Apple will be holding an event on 12th September 2012 to announce the next generation iPhone.

Members of the press were informed by means of a cryptic image (see below) stating that “It’s almost here” with further details indicating that the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

For those who are interested, the event will take place at 19:00 (local South African time) next week Wednesday.
